One Legal pays court and other statutory fees up front when you place an order. This means we advance the required court filing fees and other third-party charges directly to the court.

After we pay these fees, you are invoiced for reimbursement — typically in a single, consolidated invoice that includes One Legal service charges plus the disbursed fees.

What type of fees can be disbursed up front:

• Court filing fees
• Copy charges (if applicable)
• Jury fees or other items you specifically request them to advance
• You can even indicate special disbursement needs (like jury fees) in the order’s instructions so they’re paid as part of the transaction.

Please note: each courts ordering workflow may vary and you might need to indicate or add the required fees when placing your order. Some courts might have specific fees attached to a designated document.
