In some California counties, the court reservation number is referenced by the courts to determine when motions have already been scheduled.
After you have scheduled your motion via the Court's system, you can include your Court Reservation Number in your eFiling. On the Documents screen, you will see an option to do so.
Do not enter any information into this field besides the court-provided number given after you scheduled your motion. Requests for motion dates entered here will not be reviewed by the court.
Los Angeles County
When eFiling in Los Angeles Superior Court, if you need to schedule a motion you must use the online Court Reservation System via the Court's website. Motions cannot be scheduled through the eFiling system.
In this court, first appearance fees and motion fees are often paid when scheduling a motion. Entering your number here will provide a reference to the filing clerk and indicate that you have already paid related fees, ensuring that you do not get charged again with your filing order.
To schedule a motion, visit the Court Reservation System and select your preferred dates.
Riverside County
