One Legal Pricing – How Prices Are Determined

One Legal offers a mix of flat-priced services and variable-priced services.

Some services have a single fixed price.
Other services involve physical delivery of printed documents and have a starting price, with the final price varying based on the details of the order.

This page explains the difference and how pricing works.

Flat-Priced Services

The following One Legal services have a fixed price that does not vary by location, service level, or page count.

eFiling (Electronic Court Filing)

$25 per filing — for self-represented parties
(also known as pro se, pro per, or unrepresented litigants)

$17.95 per filing — for law firms, legal professionals, and all filers who are not self-represented

eService (Electronic Service)

$1 per recipient, up to a $10 maximum per order

eService is electronic notification of documents to other parties after a filing.
It is not physical service of process.

Person / Business Locator

$25 per successful search

No charge if the search does not return results

This is an instant skip-trace service.

Concierge

Typically $75 per request

Concierge pricing is usually fixed, but may vary for unusually large or complex requests.
Any variation is discussed and agreed with the customer in advance.

Variable-Priced Services (Physical Delivery)

All other One Legal services involve physical delivery of printed documents to real locations and have variable pricing.

Each of these services has a base / starting price that applies only in specific circumstances (for example: standard service level, under 50 pages, and an urban location).

The final price depends on three factors:

  1. Service level selected
    1. Rush service adds $90
  2. Number of pages, based on these bands:
    1. Up to 49 pages: no additional charge
    2. 50–99 pages: + $10
    3. 100–249 pages: + $25
    4. 250–499 pages: + $50
    5. 500–999 pages: + $100
    6. 1000+ pages: + $150
  3. Location of the service
    1. Pricing varies by zone based on distance and rurality
    2. There are 15 zones
    3. Most locations fall into Zone 1 (no additional charge), but this varies

Because of these factors, the final price must be calculated for each order. A pricing calculator is available at www.onelegal.com/pricing, where you can enter service level, page count, and location to see an accurate price.
