How do I sign my documents when eFiling?

eSignatures and other acceptable approaches to signing eFiled documents

The practice of electronic filing creates a verifiable link between the filer and the documents that are submitted to the court. So courts do not require original signatures on the documents that are eFiled.

When it comes to signing documents that will be eFiled, courts accept "/s/ (signer's name)" on the signature line. Or, you can leave the signature line blank.

You must retain original copies of the signed documents and must always be able to produce the original, signed document if asked by the court. But you are not required to upload that signed version to the court for filing.
