If you are filing on behalf of a party who is exempt from standard filing fees or who has a fee waiver already on file with the court, you must be sure to indicate this when placing your eFiling order. One Legal also waives eFiling charges for filers with a court-approved fee waiver.
How to notify the court of fee exemptions
To do this, begin an eFiling order into the court of your choice. On the Order Information screen, you will see a section entitled Notifications & Fees.
Select the appropriate answer.
Please note that the application is subject to the court’s approval. If not approved, the filer is responsible for all applicable fees.
If you do not already have a fee waiver on file…
Your filing must include both a fee waiver application and order (Forms FW-001 & FW-003), and these must both be submitted together. These can be added on the Documents screen along with the other documents being filed.
If you *do* have a fee waiver on file with the court already…
You should include a copy of this fee waiver for reference with your filing. These can be added on the Documents screen along with the other documents being filed.
